About Lane, SEP, M.AmSAT

I'm an SEP certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and an AmSAT certified Alexander Technique Teacher. I received my 1600-hour AT teaching certification through the Riverside Initiative for Alexander Technique (RIAT Center) where I studied under the teachers Nanette Walsh, Ariel Carson, Lori Schiff, Rebecca Tuffey, Bill Connington, Robin Schiff, and Caren Bayer. I have assisted and taught on the courses at the RIAT Center, The New School University, Fordham University, and Maggie Flanigan Studio.  I am a certified Reiki practitioner and trained at Maha Rose under Lisa Levine and Luke Simon.  I integrate Somatic Experiencing within my practice and am currently actively training with Somatic Experiencing International. I believe in commitment to my own self growth to help aide others on their personal journeys.

I received a BFA in musical theater from The Boston Conservatory and have written, directed, and performed with house teams for the UCB NY, The People's Improv Theater, and The Magnet Theater. I make it a point to integrate play, expression, and delight within my practice. I am especially passionate about inclusivity, anti-oppression work, and detangling shame.  All are welcome.
